Booking Terms
San Diego Artist Network is a nonprofit platform that connects artists with businesses and individuals seeking creative services. When you make a booking through our platform, you are entering into a direct agreement with the artist you have selected. Please read these terms before completing your booking.
1. The Booking Agreement
All bookings made through San Diego Artist Network are agreements between the client (you) and the artist. San Diego Artist Network facilitates the connection but is not a party to the service agreement and is not responsible for the delivery, quality, or outcome of any services rendered.
2. Cancellations and Refunds
Each artist on our platform sets their own cancellation and refund policy. Before completing your booking, review the artist’s stated policy on their listing. By confirming a booking, you agree to the artist’s specific terms regarding cancellations, rescheduling, and refunds.
If an artist’s cancellation policy is not clearly stated, we encourage you to contact them directly before booking to get that information in writing.
3. What San Diego Artist Network Does Not Cover
San Diego Artist Network is not liable for:
- Disputes between clients and artists regarding scope of work, deliverables, or timelines
- Cancellations initiated by either party
- Loss, damage, or injury resulting from services provided through the platform
- Any agreements made outside of the platform
4. Booking Confirmation
A booking is considered confirmed once you receive a confirmation notification from the platform. We recommend keeping a record of all booking details and communications with your artist.
5. Communication and Disputes
We encourage open communication between clients and artists to resolve any issues. If a dispute arises that cannot be resolved directly, you may contact San Diego Artist Network at tech@sandiegoartdirectory.com and we will do our best to assist, though we cannot guarantee a resolution or act as an arbiter.
6. Changes to These Terms
San Diego Artist Network reserves the right to update these booking terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
