Artist Bio
Bio
Brendan Kerr explores media that can express how he sees the world as an artist seeking to connect and share his experience. Photography, fiber art, and painting are mediums where visual, tactile and sensory relationships are explored. Brendan organically culminated his work in these mediums in a series titled: "Multimedia Triptychs."
A subject is explored through the relationship of these mediums creating a different lens of interpretation. Photography taken using his Canon camera inspires his oil painting, and fiber weaving of the subject, creating a deeper sensory relationship and connection. Growing up along the coast of North County San Diego, nature-inspired elements of design are Brendan's passion. Also, a musician with perfect pitch, Brendan plays bass guitar and enjoys playing numerous gigs as a band member of Jungle Poppins.

Statement
Creative expression through photography, fiber arts, and painting through coastal themes and nature, with a unique perspective on textures, lines and shapes. Pairing fiber art with photography and painting to evoke a multi-sensory experience. Seeking opportunities to share and exhibit my visual art.
