About Blanca Bergman
Blanca Lucia Bergman, MBA, is a business consultant, serial entrepreneur, and public speaker with expertise spanning technology, biotechnology, and the arts. In 2017, following the polarizingU.S. presidential election, she hosted a one-time interdisciplinary art event titled “Art Unites” to promote a message of “respect for all.” Art Unites rapidly developed into a values-driven products and services business and arts movement.
Motivated by the significant increase in mental illness rates, professional service barriers (for providers and patients), and her dedication to the mental well-being of San Diego artists, Blanca leveraged her cognitive science education, social network, and Art Unites community partnerships in forming Mental Wellness for Artists (MWA) in 2021.
MWA presently hosts:
interactive mental health resource booths at museums, galleries, concerts, festivals, and alternative art spaces; private and public mental health presentations; and inclusive mental health art exhibitions throughout San Diego County. Blanca actively promotes diverse mental health resources, events, and opportunities on Instagram between engagements.
