Artist Statement

My work moves between fine art, digital processes, photography, video, animation, sound, and experimental design. I’m interested in how ideas change when they move from one medium into another, and I often combine techniques that are usually treated as separate.

Music, technology, urban environments, repetition, texture, and visual distortion all influence the work. Some pieces begin as paintings or illustrations. Others develop through photography, algorithms, video, AI, or sound. I’m less concerned with staying inside one category than with finding the format that best serves the idea.

Vinyl record art is an important part of my practice because it connects my background in music with physical visual work. The records become objects rather than playback formats, carrying their original associations with rhythm, memory, identity, and culture into a new context.

Across all of my work, I’m drawn to experimentation, unexpected combinations, and the tension between control and unpredictability. Each medium feeds the next, creating an ongoing practice rather than a collection of separate disciplines.
